I am an economist currently teaching at the University of Chicago. My research interests cover mainly Microeconomic theory and its applications, including Political Economy, Information Economics, and Behavioral Economics.

My current research studies negative vs. positive campaign advertising, media censorship, and evolutionary explanations for biases in decision making and belief formation. I have also worked on social status and redistributive politics as well as relationship between the stability of authoritarian regimes and their economic and social policies.
